Sometimes parents must tell a small lie to get through. For example the child wants to go to Toys R Us and you have no money to do so. You can't go to browse because you know the kids will beg to get toys. So you tell a white lie that Toys R Us is closed. Telling lies is the wrong thing to do yet can be alright at the appropriate times.
Parents lie to their kids because a parents job is to protect their kin for as long as they can. A good parent will go great lengths to make sure no harm is done to his or her kids.
so the parents would not know what or how they did the thing that they really did.
Because their parents don't monitor them.
Parents do not want to lie to their kids about things such as the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus but the reason why they opt to do the lying is because they want kids to have hope in things that other people might not have hope in.
Yes, it is in most cases bad for kids to lie. . are deliberate deceits designed to mislead or conf use, childrens lies are no special case. it is a bad idea for children to lie as they are not good at it and will be caught
kids lie to separate it from the truth so no harm will come to them
Santa probably isn't real, but he isn't a lie. He's one of the only ways for parents to make their kids be good. He's also the key to getting their kids to go to sleep for one night per year.
errmmm... take a what? if its a cigarette, then it must be because they are afraid of getting in trouble by their parents/carers if they do take one.
It's called redirected aggression. Even supposedly intelligent people are not immune to it in the heat of the moment. Best thing to do is lie low until the dust settles.
