Bald eagles have lived up to 48 years old in zoos. And in the wild they live up to 20 years old.
The Bald eagles native land is North America. Although the eagles are native to North America some can be found in other parts of the world, including China, due to imports as well as zoos and other wildlife reserves.
Keep pollutants out of our waterways. Fish that eagles feed on store many of these chemicals in their bodies, and when the fish are eaten by the eagles, the poisons enter their bodies. Eagles once became endangered because of that very thing, but since certain pesticides like DDT have been banned, the bald eagle has made an amazing comeback, and is no longer an endangered species.
The percentage of people going to zoos then going against zoos is about 32% of the population. You're welcome
No: If you know where one is, I suggest you notify your home-state's Fish & Wildlife Department as soon as possible as they are Federally protected & their feathers are catalogued (should they become deceased) for dispersal to various Native American tribes. Native Americans are the ONLY residents of The United States that may possess Bald Eagle feathers. Only bird sanctuaries & zoos may keep live Bald Eagles, under permit from the federal government.
i think they kind of are but i do see why people have zoos
North America doesn't have camels. People do bring them to zoos and one fellow in the 1800's got a camel to search for gold.
in zoos because people are shooting them
nope... they are evil :) it depends on the situation
Some zoos are perhaps owned and operated by Jewish people, but Jews wouldn't have more or fewer zoos than other groups of people. Some zoos may be owned and operated by Christians, Muslims, Hindus etc., as well.
People may say that Zoos help keep the economy going, while bringing entertainment. Do they really? Zoos around the world are losing money because people are realizing the harm that zoos are doing to the animals. Around the world, zoos are shutting down and there are only 278 zoos left in America. Hurting animals while losing money, do we really want zoos?
