We celebrate Saint Patrick's Day because he was the one who was believed to show the concept of Trinity to Ireland in the form of shamrocks, converted and baptized thousands, was robbed, beaten, and even put into chains. Saint Patrick's Day is the day of Saint Patrick's death, March 17th.
