Why do people dislike Sarah Palin?

She is controversial because she is a woman running for an important office who is little known outside of Washington. She has done few interviews and is mocked for the couple she has done. Other controversies would include spending tax payer dollars on the campaign trail or that some believe being a mayor of a small town is not qualification enough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I would like to note this person's answer is an opinion, not everyone would agree she is the victim of sexism, some really think she isn't qualified. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SHE KILLS ANIMALS!!!

Because lots of people pay lots of attention to her. If ones notoriety is not high, there is no fame. There are probably an equal number of people who like and dislike any politician.

Because she's a raving lunatic who thinks killing random things is fun, is completely ignorant of the world yet arrogant enough to presum she's capable of leading it. Ghastly woman.
