The sense of touch is aided by receptors in the brain opposed to the signal from the never endings in the part of the boby that touches something. It sends a pulse (Signal) to the brain through tiny electromagnetic shocks that enter your brain and cause you to react due to the difference in the strength of the electromagnetic pulse. Different strength signals indicate whether an object is hot, cold, hard, smooth, wet, dry, etc.
