Because they have studied desises and they know whats wrong with you but if its spiritual (religion) then its because they feel that if they go to their pastor, priest, rabbi,etc. then they might judge them.

∙ 16y agoI would argue they say this because Doctors only "practice" and not "perfect" the art of medicine. The art of medicine is a neverending science into unknown depths and challenges. No operation is 100% and medicine is based on some theory therefore it can only be practiced and practiced until very good, but not perfected. The unknown variables that exist are unable to be finite.

∙ 13y agobecause either people enjoy going to the doctors or they are ill and they dont know what to do about it or even they need something such as calpol and they dont have enough money so they go to the doctors and pretend that they have some thing wrong with them so they get free calpol

That is not always the case. There are many types of doctors, male and female as goes the same for nurses.
