Within an institution or crisis setting a person is generally put on a one-to-one observation ratio. This is the optimal choice for the patient as they have someone nearby at all times to observe and prevent them from harming themselves. Sometimes it may be necessary to confine them to a room. In this case they may be placed in a room with nothing but a paper gown to cloth them so they have nothing to harm themselves with. In other cases a person could be physically restrained with straps to a bed or chair. The procedures vary with place and situation.
Well the main thing people think about emo is they will harm themselves by cutting or slitting their wrists. However, emo mostly means you have problems in life that have caused you to be depressed or think a certain way, so some harm themselves, and in some cases they use it to learn things and make things, like some writing songs that you SHOULDNT cut and hurt yourself like some emo people do.

No, no necissarily. Some people harm themselves because they hate themselves and gernerally they have no intention of harming others. (me) The thing is when people self harm it brings them releif adn a sense of reality. But if they harmed someone else it wouldn't bring them the same releif so all in all the answer is NO i hope i helped :) x

Having the hand rested only on your wrist, is no natural position for the hand. Altough this is not a problem for people that are rarely using the PC it can do harm to excessive user or people who are forced to work with the PC. A gel mouse mat will rise your wrist and rest it on a soft surface. The rise of your wrist will bring it in a more natural position which will do less harm even when excessively using the mouse.
