Africans are darker in complexion because they are from a part of the world that is hot and has long days (long days compared to polar regions and far north or south regions) Their skin has tinted in an effort to protect them from sunlight. Genetics determine the color of one's skin. The biological reason is that Africans have more melanin in their skin.
not all of them, it depends on what country you go to(region, community, and more). for example most northern africans are light complexion, but in countries like nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and more you'll see mostly people of brown or chocolate complexion. In countries like Sudan and benin and more you'll see alot of dark skinned people but it depends, not every African country is the same. It's not that clear cut.

In general, Ecuadorians are shorter than people from Europe or the United States. As Ecuador was part of the Spanish conquest, which later brought large numbers of slaves from Africa, people from Ecuador do not have a defining "look". Indigenous people may be taller or shorter, with straight black hair, dark eyes, and dark brown to light brown skin. Mestizos, people of mixed descent, may be taller or shorter, with black or brown hair, curly or straight; dark or light eyes, and dark brown to light brown skin. People of primarily European descent (the upper class) may be shorter or taller, with dark brown, light brown, or even dark blond hair, curly or straight; dark or light eyes, and dark brown to light pink skin. People of African descent are typically on the taller side but not uniformly so, have dark brown to light brown hair, curly or straight; dark to light eyes, and dark to light brown skin. People from the Andes tend to be shorter than people in the rest of the country.
Why would you asked a question like that ? Of course, some people are ignorant or have a different taste-as to skin color. I like Dark or Brown skinned people. i don't judge people by skin colour. :)
If you want a scientific answer, black people are descended from Africa where it is very hot. The melanin in the skin allows black people to survive in the blazing sun without getting skin cancer or burning up. And black people come in all different shades and colors of brown.
