This is largely a matter of personal preference. Those with the means to buy bottled water on a regular basis prefer the convenience of a bottle that is ready to grab at any time. There is also the common perception (largely misconception) that tap water is dirty or contaminated. Finally, some insist that bottled water tastes better.
This would vary in different situations and more importantly the person's preferences.More generally, given the chance a person might prefer bottled instead of tap;but again it still depends on the person and situation.
Bottled water is more healthful than tap water, assuming that the bottled water is not tap water to begin with.
I think either you give them botteled water or tap, I don't know, but it improved my maltese's staining!

Usually tap water contains iron, zinc and fluroide, The government adds these chemicals to the water to increase iron and zinc rates within the bodies and because fluroide is good for the teeth, this makes the water healthier than bottled water.
they don't think they know, tap water has more minerals and more vitamins and is healthier, compared to bottled water which is too filtered and removed of what you need but is more convenient. ON THE GO. it is hard to choose.
Yes it is safe. if the bottle is well sealed. If you boil the water first killing many micro organisms and bacteria and store in a sterilized bottle it will keep in definitely. Do not reuse plastic store water bottles as they leach harmful chemicals. Glass is probably best.
