The "red " in the eyes of some people is from a camera with a FLASH.
In the flash the person is in a dark setting so this makes their iris dilate letting in light from the flash.
In the back of the human eye is a blood rich retina that turns focused light that hits it and turns the light into electrical signals that travels through optic nerve to the brain. The brain then turns these electrical signals into a arrangement (digital) that our brain understands as a image.
I digress; the "red" eyes in the photo is due to the flash hitting the retina and is reflected back to the lens of the camera
it depends on the camera
Meaning it's STOP not GO in one case... In the other, red lights are red because... The light passes through a red filter which colors the light red. It comes to our eyes as red, and we see it as red.
Blue
yes!
Small droplets of water behave like tiny prisms in the sky. Sometimes the colors will reach our eyes after refracting and undergoing internal reflection. As can be seen in figure 4.3.2, droplets higher in the sky refract red to our eyes while green and blue go overhead. In drops lower in the sky, blue light is refracted and reflected to our eyes, but green and red light bend lower down, missing our eyes. The over-all effect is that we see a primary rainbow- a band in the sky with red at the top and blue at the bottom. Sometimes a less intense secondary rainbow can be seen above a primary one. Light reaches our eyes from a secondary rainbow after two internal reflections inside each rainbow. This has the effect of reversing the colors so the bottom band is red
albino peole have red eyes because they lack hectomelatin
Often, people who take pictures will notice that their photos come out with people having bright red eyes. This is caused by the flash of a camera actually seeing the light reflecting off a person's retina.
