Why do my questions never get answered?
Answers take time, and the rate at which questions come in far exceeds the rate at which good answers come in. Many of the contributors here have to spend time undoing damage done to the site by vandals and many questions are also unorganized; this greatly reduces the time to answer questions. Eventually, every question will be answered and categorized, but it will take time and the coordinated efforts of everyone here to make that happen.
Why do people post questions here instead of looking up the answers on the internet?
people ask questions here because most of the time people get a direct answer than having to search through links like on google
How can you keep your family here with you forever?
You can't, everyone dies. Some people think you will be reunited in heaven. But persisting in delusion is a waste of time, which is something we have only so much of. Spend as much time with family while they are here, cause when they die it is too late to talk to them, ask them questions, hug them..
Why do you guys spend your life on here answering questions?
Personally - I don't ! On a 'busy' day I may only be here long enough to check my message board. On my 'quiet' days I might be here for a couple of hours - depending on the questions I come across. I'm self-employed - so I can spend as much or as little time here as I want. I've been known to go for weeks without going near my computer !

While many of those are great hobbies, answering questions that people have asked is one that actually gives back to the "community" a bit. Spending a few hours here and there helps build up a source of knowledge that can help people all over the world. There is nothing lame about that.
