Probably for a couple of reasons. My first thought is that it is not illegal as far as I know, so it must be okay, right? Secondly, on the parents front, I think some parents are probably ignorant of the fact that their kids are drinking it and also some do not fully grasp the effects of the ingredients on the kids. In my opinion, these kinds of drinks should be kept out of the hands of kids.

Yes, It is safe to drink monster, 8 year olds can!
i think its lemonade.. but that depends on the monster lol :P
I think there are better ways to recieve money like getting a job than getting an "energy" drink name permanently tattood on you. Think about it, would you get Tropicana Orange Juice tattood on you because you like the drink? I don't understand the fanatacism over this placebo drink.
no, the children of our nation crave the drink... i myself think that they are somewhat flavorful, and do give me a boost of energy... but have you ever heard of many children dying from a "Monster"?
yes, why do you think people die?

That is like asking your doctor if you can drink and drive or drink while in rehab. Now think about it!
