The homoeroticism is not so subtle! Bare-chsted men playing volleyball, flaunting their glistening, toned torsos, doesn't only turn on the ladies. The lingering glances - between Maverick and Iceman particularly - are a not-so-subtle sub-text to the hetero coupling. Nuff said.
