Maybe it's because they have low self esteem and their childhood was ruined
A cartoon is an animated pictorial and typically fictional story drawn on story boards that depict one action per board. Many story boards make up one scene. The quick changing of the story boards creates visual 'movement' of each character or background. Cartoons began as very simple stories but have evolved into detailed stories with multiple characters. Also, in the past, cartoons were only shown on Saturday mornings, but now are available on cable and network programming any day of the week.

Most people tend to stop watching cartoons past the age of 18
i think it was into get you
I'm only 14 but I think they think that way because the cartoon has childish humor and they watched cartoons as a kid remembering the old days. That is a very valid viewpoint. I am a looooong way past 14, and I long ago came to the conclusion that there are two types of people: Those who really love cartoons, and those who don't. Both are perfectly normal, productive adults. But the "lovers" will never make sense to the "non-lovers" and vice-versa. It really can't be explained much more than that.
Because, typically, cartoons are associated with children. and a lot of girls can't get past that to see that what it really means is that you're amazing, fun loving, and true to yourself. (:
Many stop watching cartoons around that age because they aren't interested in cartoons anymore, they're preoccupied with the socially stressful life of a pubescent teenager, or they believe that watching cartoons makes them "uncool." However, many people don't actually stop watching cartoons altogether. While they might become more interested in things like the news or reality TV, there are plenty of adults who still love the occasional mindless cartoon. Cartoons nowadays are catering to these adults, since they throw in double entendres and seemingly adult themes.
People might think about individuals from their past due to nostalgia, unresolved emotions, or curiosity about how those individuals are doing. Memories of past relationships, friendships, or experiences can trigger thoughts about people from one's past.
Political cartoons about present immigrants may focus on issues such as border security, deportation policies, and refugee crises, reflecting current events. In the past, cartoons on immigrants often depicted stereotypes and discrimination based on nationality or ethnicity. Today's cartoons may also highlight issues of diversity, inclusion, and social justice in relation to immigration.
