Besides being obviously more sturdy, metal isn't prone to rotting from termites and/or mold buildup. Metal is prone to rust but they will still probably last longer.

Which is more stable metal frame vs wood frame.?

Since you are asking this question, I am thinking you are on the verge of buying a new bed. Well, I am here to help you. I have been in the same spot as you a couple of years ago. I had a set of twins who liked to roll about and do plenty of rough play. I was looking for a set of beds that my twins wouldn’t demolish within a year. I started looking up the differences between metal bed frames and solid wood bed frames. After my research, I found out that although metal bed frames are sturdy, wooden bed frames are the safer bet. The wood is sturdier and can handle a lot more wear and tear than metal bed frames. And since we had no plans of moving anywhere in the near future, wooden beds seemed the better choice. I am glad to say that the wood bed frames I got from Wakefit have more than served the purpose. The beds are sturdy and durable and do not show any sign of wear and tear even after everything my twins put them through.

Why does a metal rod feels colder to touch than a wooden rod at the surrounding temperature?

Metal is an excellent conductor of heat. The moment you grasp the metal rod, the heat of your hand is conducted away rapidly by the dense metal. If feels "chilly". Wood is a poor conductor of heat. It does not conduct away the heat of your hand, and the wooden rod stays comfortably warm in your hand.

Are metal picture frames better than wooden picture frames?

Wooden picture frames can appear more intimate than an metal frame. Wood is classical and can be a warm window to look through, bringing you back to the memory of whatever the picture may be of. I prefer wood because of the grain and rich colors of stained wood. Of course the choice between wood or metal should come down to how it compliments the rooms other furnishings.
