Best Answer

- so that they can survive by eating their meat

- so that they can use the fur to make clothings

- science experiments in the lab

- as a form of medicine (e.g. rhinocerous horn, elephant tusk)

-for fun

I think the post above listed (except for the first one) animal cruelty.I dont know why people kill animals for reasons other than food. There are some people out there that belive animals dont have any feelings and belive they are a much higher standard. I dont belive in killing animals (other than a nice mcdonalds now and again lol)

Apparently its illegal in most countries to use animals in experimants now.

People like to kill animals because humans are stupid and immature - and they think killing animals is "ok" because they think they have no feelings and are worthless savages that need to be killed. But animals do have emotions and feelings - otherwise they wouldn't run away when a predator comes near them, or have the courage to feed their babies instead of feeding themselves.

for its fur and meat.... i know its very sad and terribly mean! LEAVE THE POOR LITTLE SQUIRRELS ALONE!!!! Squirrels are part of the same family as the rat and so they gnaw on everything, including your home. They rob food from bird feeders and other places. Hunting squirrels is a sport that some enjoy.

Because rabbits are innocent and friendly, and yes, I know they can bite, but that doesn't mean they're so bad they should die. They are just expressing their contempt towards what you may have done, or maybe their experience with another person has made them think humans aren't to be trusted.

Anyway, rabbits are just doing what they think needs to be done. Humans also do what they want to do. Rabbits should have the same right.

People also kill rabbits for their fur or meat. Although I agree that there's nothing softer than rabbit fur, why can't we people just wait for the little things to go by themselves instead of us doing the death-job? And about the meat, my dad has tasted rabbit before, and he said it tasted just like chicken. Why don't we just save the rabbit and our money and just get the cheaper chicken for the same taste?
