Could be for a lot of reasons, maybe he has a job that the ring on his ldft hand would interfere with. Maybe he is just not comfortable with ring on his left hand. But this may help. The reason the wedding ring is traditionally worn in the left 2nd finger is that this is the only finger that has a direct arterial connection to the heart, so it is a way to show symbolically that you love the person who gave you the ring with all your heart. Corny I know. You could actually wear the weddng ring on any finger. It just shows everyone that you are married and not afraid to show it. People who have lost both arms might wear the ring on a chain around their neck.
