Humans are loyal to what they are surrounded by, no matter if it's 'right' or 'wrong', it's ultimately always going to (most likely) be right to that individual. Especially with religion, there is not necessarily any way to disprove any faith since it is a very broad concept and is belief not knowledge. Therefor, anyone can presume that their religion is the "ultimate truth".
America has freedom of, or from, religion so Americans can believe in any religion they choose. The main religion would probably be christianity, but all religions are accepted, by the law.
Beleive it or not there is a releigion born every minute. It depends on what YOU believe in to choose you religion.
No. Freedom of religion means you are allowed to choose religion but also to choose not to believe in one, even as a child. Your parents can still drag you to church though against your will but they can not force you to believe.
You would choose a religion because you believe it is the truth. If you have reason to believe that a certain religion tells you lies, then don't choose it.
I believe in Messianic Judaism as the closest thing to that which God intends for humanity.
If you are not sure what you believe, I would ask why you believe you need a religion at all. Not being sure what you believe means you are probably agnostic, and need do nothing to remain an agnostic. If you have no conviction that there is a deity or controlling spirit, then you could look at what you really do believe already. Do not join a religion or cult unless you genuinely believe the teachings of that religion or cult. Do some research first and then choose a religion that makes the most sense to you.
Depends. Religion really varies. If you're in America, most people don't believe in a "greater being" and such. You get to choose what you want to believe in. If you grew up somewhere in the Middle East, religion is life. You follow the rituals and rules.
It is not right for any religion to force their beliefs, in any way, shape or form, on others who do not believe in that religion. Religion should not be used to shape our country. The constitution guarantees us that we can be any religion that we choose, or no religion at all, if we so choose.
It depends on what type of person you are. Some people are raised as a member of a particular religion and never choose for themselves, whereas others may choose to become, for example, a Buddhist when their parents are christian. In other words, anyone can choose there religion at any age, assuming they have the capability to do so. As far as I know, most religions have their "coming of age" ceremonies at the age of twelve, so that is when it is generally recognized that you are mature enough to have made your own decision on which religion you choose.
No, Montessori schools do not provide religious teachings. They believe that a child can choose what they want to believe in.
Yes. Religion is a matter of belief, and you can believe what you want. Others can influence what you believe, but they cannot control it, nor do they have the right to.
Some people believe that evolution goes against their religion and choose not to accept the scientific notion.
