Because people who wish bad luck to other people do not have faith and their self esteem are low.It is sad to say this but a lot of people in society have a bad habit of wishing bad luck on people when they do not like them or can not have their way with them or what ever the reason may be. And I have been told by elders that when you point one hand at someone and wish bad luck on someone their are three fingers pionted back at you. So a nut in the whole thing is that if you get right with God and do what,s right you do not have time to wasted to think about negative thingsyou would be wish good on people life instead.
