because some wavelengths are more simliar to the ones the sun emits and natural light is best for growing plants in which case the more similar they are to the sun's wavelengths they are, the better it is for the plants.
Plants actually don't grow better in green light. Green light is reflected by the chlorophyll in the leaves of the plants that's why we see the plant as being shades of green. If the plant were to receive only green light it would all be reflected and the plant would not be able to photosynthesise
Simply because it depends on the type of light it is grown under.Otherwise the best type of light for a plant is sunlight.

Plants depend on light for their life.
Light or Electromagnetic energy depending on how spesific you want but electromagnetic is the more technical answer. FOR STUDENTS TAKING THE SCIENCE MSP ITS LIGHT ENERGY.
Optimal wattage depends on several factors including the size of the growing area and the type of plants. Plants that require more light (i.e. tomatoes), need a higher wattage system.
Mainly visible light.
Plants use light to do photosynthesis, which takes carbon dioxide and sunlight to produce sugar. If we keep a plant without sunlight will it grow or die? in my thoughts plants will not grow. so, light is necessary for growth of the plants. without light plants cant survive. They use a certain gas called carbon dioxide (CO2) for food which is also what we release as waste from cellular respiration. Plants release oxygen as waste in return.
a "tropism"; geotropism for response to gravity and phototropism for response to light
Your retina has more than one type of cell that perceives and transmits light. Cones are cells that respond to color, but they respond best in bright light. In very dim light, the cells that respond to light are called rods, which are blind to color.
It depends on the neuron. Some neurons respond better to a pressure stimulus or temperature, light, sound ect. For example the neurons in the retina of the eye, they respond to photons of light, but do not respond to pressure or sound.

Tendrils are a type of modified leaf. They are used by plants like Pea, to climb up other plants and objects. They are have a tropic response in that they respond to touch, which makes them curl around.
Jute rope is a type of fiber that comes from plants. It can be purchased at many different stores such as Pottery Barn, Amazon.com, Scrapbook.com, and many more.
