excretion is the release of toxic waste in the body by both plants and animals.
the difference between plants and animals in excretin is that in animals they release their toxic wastes by the process of defication or in their urine and plants release their toxic by the release of carbondioxide or theystore their toxic in a cell and the cell is does not remove from the plant.....plants also relese toxic by storing it in the soil around them
Answer
Plants release carbon dioxide as a by-product of respiration (just like animals) but (unlike animals) can use some of this CO2 for nutrition (photosynthesis). They release O2 during photosynthesis but use some of it for respiration. Thus, plants can use metabolic 'waste'-products over and over. Animals simply get rid of their waste products. Animals breathe out CO2 and release waste products in their sweat. They get rid of protein-degradation nitrogen in the forms of urea or uric acid. Mammals get rid of urea in liquid form (urine). Note that there is a distinction between excretion and defecation. Defecation is egestion, not excretion.
Plants don't excrete waste
As to why plants do not excrete waste:
Plants do not eat foods like we do, therefore not being able to excrete waste. Plants get their energy through photosynthesis.
Plants have no special organs for removal of wastes. The waste products of respiration and photosynthesis are used as raw materials for each other. Oxygen gas produced as a by-product of photosynthesis is used up during respiration and carbon dioxide produced during respiration is used up during photosynthesis.
Excretion is carried out in the plants in the following ways:
1. The gaseous wastes, oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapour are removed through stomata of leaves and lenticels of stems.
2. Some waste products collect in the leaves and bark of trees. When the leaves and bark are shed, the wastes are eliminated.
3. Some waste products are rendered harmless and then stored in the plant body as solid bodies. Raphides, tannins, resins, gum, rubber and essential oils are some such wastes.
Becuase animal bodies are generally less efficient at processing nutrients and minerals in our bodies and also produce more waste, thus we must excrete more. This is generally due to the dilution of energy up a food chain, plants are on the bottom of the food chain and acquire their energy direct from the sun, air and ground, animals then eat the plants, but only acquire a certain amount of the energy the plant possesses, other animals eat other animals who also gain less energy density thus have to eat more thus causing more waste.
Animals tend to have complex excretory systems when compared to plants for a couple of reasons. One reason is that they eat more complex foods.
Plants produce their pwn food therefore maximising efficiency and minimising waste products as they can practically 'choose' what they need to eat.
Because , they breath, take in energy from the sun , and do other things aswell that animals are able to do. It is the way god created the plants and animals.
Because animals only have a small 'space' to store waste produce - and need to expel it regularly. Plants simple excrete carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere.
They don't need them.
excretory system
Excretory and reproductive, as both metabolic wastes and sperm/eggs exit there
the cloaca.
Excretory and Reproductive
.Digestive .Circulatory .Endoorine .Intequmentary .Muscular .Nervous .Reproductive .Respiratory .Skeletal .Urinary/Excretory
Plants do not have excretory systems as animals do.
of course! animals have excretory systems to get rid of waste that can not be used.
endocrine and excretory system
excretory
Jellyfish are, compared to mollusks, arthropods and vertebrates, very simple organisms. Jellyfish did not evolve a respiratory or an excretory system, as they can perform gas exchange at their outer surfaces.
Plants have lesser systems compared to animals. Therefore, energy "divisors" are lesser.
The excretory system is beast
Not all animals have complex nervous systems. In fact, most lower animals don't even show an organized nervous system. Its only in higher animals like chordates that a proper organized nervous system is seen.
Animals excrete a variety of substances through the excretory and respiratory systems. Three things they excrete are carbon dioxide, uric acid, and ammonia.
Spongest have the most complex body systems and they are very flowwy
Excretory and reproductive systems.
Because of their complex organs, circularitory systems, nervous systems, and gas exchange systems.
