they do not eat their puppies, but they can roll on them in their sleep and kill them. a way to stop this is to get a sleeping pen/bed that has a ledge around the edge of it. make sure there is enough room for the puppies to get under it. the puppies will automatically sleep under it and the mum can't roll on to them. ! xx
