The mother or the doe will feed her babies milk. The mother may not do this immediately and it might take a while for her to feed the litter. So don't be scared. The mother does this for 15 minutes on and off all day. The mother feeds her babies milk for 3-4 weeks. Sometimes the baby may not wean(wean-not depending on the mother for food) until 8 weeks.
Rabbits and their Babies This happened with my rabbit and its young. Rabbits do eat their young but they dont mean to if the baby is dead the mother will not know this and will try to revive the baby by nibbling on it when the baby does not respond the mother will start biting. They dont eat them as such but they do bite them to try to revive them so n a contex they can sometimes end up eating their young.

Rabbits will eat their babies for several reasons. If the babies die during birth or after they will eat them so they do not attract predators. stress and fear for 'the herd' may cause does to eat their babies. Some are just lousy mothers.
