The closer you are to the light the smaller the source of light gets, but at the same time the closer you are to the light the stronger the light. the further you are to the light the weaker the light.

how big your shadow is depends on where the light source is, how big you are, and what the angle of the platform is that your shadow is projected on.

They dont. A shadow size depends on the angle at which the sun hits the object and the surface that the object is on.
