∙ 14y agoMen used to wear makeup when it was thought that soft hands and pale faces were a sign of the rich. Now, however, the ideal man is usually seen as a hard worker with a bit of scruff. Girls are still seen as being dainty, but they are not supposed to be pale anymore. Guys do not wear makeup because it isn't the status quo anymore.

Some men want to enhance their appearance - hide spots with concealer, enhance their eyes with mascara - look gothic etc. Makeup for men used to be taboo but is now more acceptable in many places. Most men on television have to wear make-up otherwise they would look very grey and like vampires.

faces. Many women wear makeup because they love the creativity of it and how much
fun it is to play around with so many different colors and create a new look! It's not
really because they are not beautiful, usually. Makeup is like just for fun and enhancing
the beauty of themselves. Makeup can enhance someone's feautures. Makeup doesn't
make a person beautiful much, what makes a person beautiful is their heart.
So in conclusion, most women don't wear makeup to feel beautiful. Usually, it's
because they love the creativity in it and how much fun it is to play with colors! :)
