Sleep is very important for a body to stay happy and healthy. When a person gets into a certain schedule their body becomes attuned to that schedule and works to provide 'awake' and 'sleep' times. When a person suddenly changes that schedule, the body's inner-clock becomes confused and while a person is awake their body's inner-clock is saying 'sleep'. Thus the person becomes fatigued, causing their immune system to weaken and ultimately resulting in the person becoming ill.
