Why do some teens like diapers?

Back when I was a teen or preteen I remember being very attracted to diapers. I can't say why I was , but I was. It took me a long time to get up the nerve to actually go out and buy a box of pampers but when I finally did and got them home, I was in HEAVEN. It was and still is an awesome feeling.

I was always afraid that my mother was going to find my diapers which I hide in my closet in my room. After awhile, I think she did find out only because every now and then she would say to me that I looked like I had a diaper on under my pants or shorts. It never went any further than that though.!! Now it's ten years later and I am still very attracted to wearing diapers.

In my honest opinion and as a former teen who liked wearing diapers (and still do on occasion) the diapers that one seeks as a teenager help you to keep one foot in both worlds; that of a child and the other of entering into a world of self-sexual pleasures. The diaper can help afford a lot of warm comfort when worn snugly and the stimulation of being touched or caressed in the crotch by something so innocent and "pure" means that although one might be providing their own source of selfsatisfaction, it doesn't hold the same negative overtones that masturbation brings.

On the other hand, with puberty thrusting itself onto teens; some also long for the simpler times of being young and innocent. They become afraid of growing up too fast and the desire to reverse or stall the inevitable that leads them to a path of diaper wearing.

What happens to many teens is that as they reach their teen years, they become distant from their parents as their own interests emerge and they become a bit more independent but still long for the days that their parents or care givers praised them for simple tasks. Let's face it, not too many teens get frequent praises from their parents as they did when they were 5 or six years old.

As a result, the teenager reaches back for the love, affection and acceptance that they used to get from their parents by pretending to be a baby again even if done so only in the privacy of their own minds and bedrooms.

People keep asking if it's normal or not to like wearing diapers/nappies and to be honest, I'm not sure because I like to wear them myself but other than internet "friends" met on diaper chat locations, I've never met another like me.

Just because I haven't met any others, it doesn't mean it's deranged or sick. To me its normal because it is a secret part of me. My close friends may or may not understand but it is none of their business just like what they do in the privacy of their own bedroom is none of mine.

Don't ask, Don't tell works for me. , it's made many people like me who thought they were freaks or weirdos know that they are not alone. What you have said here is very true of teens,tho i feel it is more prevelent amongst teen girls than boys.girls want to hang on to their little girlhood and the fantassies that go along with it.they know that becomming a teen is going to be hard with the stresses and pressures of everyday life,so many girls wear diapers and plastic pants to escape from the real world once in a while.
