Some of the youth of today are very worldly, they live for today and want all that the world has to offer them. It is exciting and adventurous. Trying to live by the standards which Christ has set is hard for them to accept. It requires will power and a complete break away from the easy life which they have become used to. Living by the standards set down by the Lord was not meant to be easy, but the reward will be far great then what the world has to offer.
The young people of today are exposed to more accurate and tangible information, which challenges the validity of the alleged facts contained within the pages of the scriptures. They are also challenging the fact that these scriptures endorse bigotry and persecution based on age, ethnicity, gender and social status. They are also questioning the unethical conduct of those who profess to be leaders and exemplars.
