"Black hole", not "black whole". The reason massive stars turn into a black hole is because, once they run out of fuel (and no longer have the radiation pressure to keep them blown up), there is no force that can stop the gravitational collapse.

Do stars ever turn into black?

Yes. When the most massive stars die, their cores collapse to form black holes.

Do all-stars tern into blackholes when they die?

Not all stars do but stars can turn into black holes. Small ones turn in to a black dwarf star when it dies. Medium ones turn in to a neutron then in to a red giant star and then to white dwarf star Large size stars becomes a blackhole..........

Why do stars turn into black hole?

'Cause once you go black, you never go back.

What determines if the sun will turn into a black hole?

The Sun probably won't turn into a black hole. What determines whether a certain star becomes a black hole is basically the amount of mass left over, once the star runs out of energy. Less massive stars turn into white dwarves; more massive stars into neutron stars; and the most massive of all, into black holes.

Can any black hole turn into a neutron star?

No, black holes cannot turn into neutron stars. Neutron stars form from the remnants of supernova explosions of massive stars, while black holes are formed from the gravitational collapse of massive stars. Once a black hole is formed, it will remain a black hole and will not transform into a neutron star.

What force causes extremely high mass stars to turn into black holes instead of nuetron stars?

Black holes are formed by super massive stars when they collapse. Less massive stars will form neutron stars. Therefore, the original size and mass of the star will determine if a black hole will be created when the star collapses.

What are Three things stars turn into when they die?

white dwarf ---> black dwarf. Only difference is amount of heat.Neutron star (also knows as Pulsar)black holesub-stellar wreckage. Veil Nebula, Planetary nebula,1. Dwarf stars2. Supernovas (Neutron Stars)3. Black holesIt depends on the size and mass

What happens to low to medium mass stars when they run out of fuel?

What actually happens to the types of stars is that the low mass will turn into a white dwarf and the medium mass will turn into a black dwarf and reproduce a nebula

Why the universe is black?

The universe is not black. The universe as a whole is microwave, at a cavity radiation temperature of about 3 K. The space between stars just looks black because you can't see microwave.

Which type of star often turns into a black hole when they die?

Massive, big, and very luminous stars turn into black holes most of the time

Where do you get yellow black and purple stars in moshi monsters?

You just plant a star blossom and it will turn out a random color.

Why do some stars become white dwarfs and others become neutron stars and black holes?

Actually if a star is medium or low mass is will run out of fuel and turn into a red giant, once the stars atmosphere slowly drifts away and the core is remaining it will eventually become a white dwarf For more massive stars it will turn in to a super giant the will cause a supernova, after the supernova the star can either a black hole or a neutron star
