Teens generally dont think about the down side of sexual activity and why would they, they are surrounded by messages that promote sex in a good light.
Sex is a wonderful thing, yet theres always a catch. Everything good has a down side, most teenagers need to learn the hard way. All we can do is advise and support them!
Think back to when you were a teenager, did you never get that 'I can take on the world!' feeling?

∙ 14y agoTeens who do not want to be sexually active have the right idea and have been brought up correctly by their parents as it is known it is a sin to have sex before marriage. So why not wait and then have all the sex you want after getting married nobody will say a thing then.

no, not really We also think about our friends, families, school work and social status alot more than sex. But I guess it depends on the person. But we can't be blamed. Our hormones have to due with alot of it. The media also takes some part in it. I think that it's almost a pressure on them to keep up with the times. Who didn't want to have what the generation just before them had. It could be a car, or a musical instrument. It just happens that sex is the flavor of the month for teenagers, because they physically are drawn to it. The rules seem to have changed a bit from the 1920's, but hey, we have changed a lot of things since then. The grocery store is a super mart ... uh huh!
