China does not necessarily have a different calendar. They use the common calender as most of the world does (same number of months and weeks, etc), but also uses the Lunar Calender.
If you are referring to the Chinese zodiac, well, that is not their calendar.

The Chinese New Year is based on a lunar schedule not a Solar schedule as is done in America and other western countries. As a consequence the date moves around on western calendars between January and February.

∙ 15y agoChinese New Year is on a different day every year because our western calendar (Gregorian) doesn't match with the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Thus, sometimes, the Chinese New Year lands in January, instead of the usual in February.
