You can blame Bram Stoker for this one. In his story, Jonathan Harker notes that the mirrors in the house are all missing or covered. His own travel mirror for shaving is broken when the Count looks into it. Other popular legends state that mirrors are covered as to not give away the presence of a Vampire, since they cannot, traditionally, cast reflections.

This stereotype is the result of only a few vampires having an aversion to their own reflections and is not typical of all. Some vampires are not entirely comfortable with what they have become (a vampire of course) and shrink from the sight of their reflection as it brings to mind what they once were, their present condition, what it is that they do, and all the incidences that lead up to it ect.
Vampires don't mind mirrors actually. They are afraid of crosses but not mirrors. The connection between mirrors and vampires is that vampires can't be seen in mirrors. I suppose if mirrors did bother a vampire it would be because perhaps they are tortured by the fact that they can never be human again, and not being able to see their reflection would be a reminder of this.
They have no mirror image.
Yes. But they do not appear in mirrors.
The belief that vampires do not cast reflections in mirrors is a common superstition in vampire folklore. This idea is rooted in the connection between mirrors and the soul, and the belief that vampires lack a soul or have an altered, supernatural reflection that cannot be seen in a mirror.
Yep. You're probably thinking of vampires.
No stupid read a vampire book for once! no Vampires actually do have a reflection. It is just that some vampires avoid mirrors because a visual confrontation as to what they have become is bothersome. It from such aversions and negative reactions to mirrors that the myth of a non-reflection has evolved. All the mirrors in Count Dracula's castle were covered but apparently this was not done by the count -- probably by one of his 'vampire brides'.
According to folklore and mythology, vampires lack a soul, which prevents their reflection from being visible in mirrors. This concept plays on the idea that mirrors reflect a person's soul or inner essence, so since vampires supposedly don't have one, their reflection doesn't appear. This belief contributes to the mystique and supernatural characteristics associated with vampires in popular culture.
Yes of course.Everything can see themselves in mirrors
In folklore, vampires are often portrayed as having no reflection in mirrors because they lack a soul or have supernatural qualities that disrupt the reflection. This attribute adds to the mystique and otherworldly nature of vampires in popular culture.
Because the need souls to see them selves in the mirror.
No Virginia, there is NO Santa Claus, Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy and sure as heck aren't vampires except in you movies, book and games.
Vampires should stay away from holy water garlic, mirrors, the cross ,the sun, blood typeAB-, gold, and blue chalk.
