Experimental variables need to be controlled because they can cause the experiment to be flawed. Variables can change the experiment, and even if it's not a very big change, it will still make the experiment unreliable. For example, let's say a person is trying to see which laundry detergent is better. They stain four shirts with grass stains, and then apply detergent to each one. The experimental variable in that experiment is the stains; In order for the experiment to be accurate, the person doing the experiment must make sure that they put the same amount of grass stains on each shirt. Otherwise, it would be a very incorrect, inaccurate experiment.
what is an controlled variable. we need to know it for our science proformance asscement!!! From a friend in need!
Controlled (in science) means constant and not changed. The opposite of variable.
I have no idea but I need to now for my science project
An investigation in science that is controlled is an experiment. The group within the experiment that is controlled is the control group.
if the experement can be repeated and the same results made then the experement is controlled if not the experement is not controlled
It's called a lab and its when you do an experiment in a controlled environment
The word that defines an investigation that is controlled is "regulated."
Dependent, Independent and Controlled
To test the theory thoroughly, many controlled experiments were done.
Controlled group is a group that is separated from the rest of the experiment. This is done in science.
