Veteran's Day is an official Federal holiday of the United States of America set on November 11th of each year. Originally this holiday was Armistice Day, in rememberance of the end of hostilities during WWI. However, in the mid-1900s, the holiday was changed to Veteran's Day to remember the sacrifices of all military personnel throughout the years.
