Scientists wear the same clothes as anybody else. Sometimes they will wear protective clothing in laboratory work, but they take it off afterwards. Scientists do not have the same fashion sense as other people and can appear a bit out of date or plain in their clothing, but this is because they are often more concerned with science than with what other people think of them.
