Why do welsh corgis get there tails cut of when they are puppies?

They don't, Pembroke Welsh Corgi's are born with out tails, if you see a corgi with a tail, you are looking at a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. They have big bushy tails, and Pembroke's have tails but there tails are small invisible nubs.

∙ 11y agoPembroke Welsh Corgis are born with tails but they are so long they have to be docked when they are little because they are short dogs, and that's why it looks like a nub, or a short tail. I hope that helped!
