Wolves areomnivores. Wolves are mostly carnivorous but can be omnivores to survive as well. All creatures given any source of food will eat it when dying of course but if you do find a wolf in the wild or anything like that, it would prefer to eat you over those sandwhiches in your bag. Wolves will also bite off their own limbs when trapped in order to escape. A trapped wolf is still a dangerous one.
