go to the folder with the pictures in it which are being thumbnailed.
Go to Tools, folder options
Go to view and then select "show hidden files and folders"
Delete the thumbs.db file which you will see next to your pictures. This is the thumbnail file.

When you are doing a Hardrive Cleanup on the computer an option appear it says to clear thumbnails does that mean itll delete my pictures?
I do not think so. If it does delete files, though, I (and Answers.com) am not responsible. If you do a hard drive clean up, I recommend you back your files up, just in case something goes wrong.
