Why do you go through changes during puberty?

Everyone goes through Puberty. Boys and girls and even animals.

It is the time when you change from Children to Adults. Your hormones are making you sexually mature and able to procreate. This period in your life only happens once in your early teens and takes a few years to complete, it is known as Puberty or Adolescence.

The reason for changes during puberty is for children's bodies to mature take their adult form. Also their is a social and emotional growth involved. Without it we wouldn't be able to reproduce, because our reproductive system wouldn't develop, so it is essential to us.

These physical changes could start as early as Age 9 and finish as early as Age 13,

Or these physical changes could start as late as Age 17 and finish as late as Age 21.

But usually (on average) Boys start puberty at Age 11-13 and finish at Age 16-18.

And Girls on average start puberty at Age 10-12 and finish at Age 15-16.
