You should say "Services Interpereted for the Hearing Impaired". My name is Jennifer and I'm studying to become an ASL interpreter. For the record, Deaf people hate the term "Hearing Impaired". It's an insult. The correct way would be "Services interpreted for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing".
I'm not deaf but I am an asl student who has done research on CI in class and the options of deaf people. I have discovered that deaf people don't hate CIs necessarily but feel they strip people of who they are. They believe they aren't in the hearing or deaf world and struggle with who they are. A common arguement: "deaf people aren't broken, why try to fix us."
love is blind but hate is deaf true
almost half (44 percent) hearing adults say, "I hate math."
people hate it because it is usually hard, time-consuming, and boring but not everybody hates it.
People don't hate dinosaurs to my knowledge (it's hard to hate something that died out 65 million years ago),but I can understand not wanting them to eat you.
People are not nice, so I hate them. People are not interesting, so I hate them. Music is boring, so I hate it. TV programming sucks, so I hate it. Games are not fun, so I hate them. I am not intelligent enough, so I hate me. The world is hard, so I hate it. In short, this is why I hate everything.
its hard to reach things & ext
i have been hearing impaired all my life. i know how many people can be so uncaring if i know what is going on or not. i always care for them but they don't reciprocate in kind. now i am totally deaf and it is much worst. i am very skilled in home improvements and other things. people are jealous and resentful of my skills yet i don't brag nor boast of myself .i do good things for others often .i do love all people.
Because different people enjoy different music.
You can't go deaf. Personally I don't understand why you would want to. If you have trouble filtering out sounds or if you are distracted easily it isn't your hearing, but could be your brain. I don't know how old you are, but if you have problems focusing on the material and the sights/sounds in the classroom cause you problems I would suggest you get help with finding out why you aren't processing properly. That is the brain and not your ears. In the meantime get earplugs at the drug store to help you cut down on the sound. Get help.
I doubt there are any hard numbers, but probably not many people have a strong enough opinion to justify the use of the word "hate".
