and touch I have been coughing for maybe 8 days I had bronchits and
was using xopenx with a nebulizer.
Most likely a muscle spasm. If it makes it hard to turn your head,or it's quite sore/tender to touch, that's what it is.

My first thought is that it is an abcessed tooth. If not that I would have a doctor check my lymph gland in my neck for an infection.
