He was not allowed the simple dignities of eating, sleeping, in the venue of which he performed, not allowed equality as the patrons he entertained. In all areas where non AfricanAmerican were not allowed to set foot upon there was bigotry and condescending attitudes. Racial bigotry was a hardship he faced consistently and to know this fact.... that all whites were not KKK... but all KKK WERE WHITE.. so how much fear can a Black man fear if a Black man could fear...
