I enjoy Death Note because it has a great storyline, great characters, and an amusing plot.
The characters are complex, and are interesting to explore psychologically.
I love the art and voice acting, too, though I believe that the manga is better. Death Note is intelligent, and it actually makes you think.
I'd give it a 5/5. Because it's that good.
Its major flaw is its lack of strong female characters, but The Dark Knight lacked those, too, and most people weren't complaining.
