∙ 14y agoIt is really important to seek friendship with people of both sex. So you can Have someone to talk to and someone you can share things with as well. The nicer you are to people the more chance you have of building a friendship. Like the old saying "Be To Others As You Want Others To Be To You".

Also, you can have a lot of fun time with them and hang out...
You get to be there for someone...
Trust me... you need a best friend... I didn't have one for a while... and even if i didn't realize it, I was sadder and just needed someone... now I have one and we are there for each other all the time!

∙ 11y agoIt is not an absolute need, but most people like having friends. Friends give you a feeling of support and of belonging to a group. Humans tend to be herd animals and for the most part function better in a group.
