A piston is a moving part that allows air and fuel to flow in, and pushes exhaust out. It's a combustion chamber...want to do away with them just get a Rotary Engine.
If the piston has come out, the caliper will need replaced.
You need to turn the piston clockwise and it will slowly retract as you turn.
You need a hydraulic press to press the pin into the piston and through the connecting rod
No need to when disassembling.
To get the area of a piston, you need to measure the diameter or radius of the piston head and use the formula for the area of a circle (A = πr^2) where r is the radius of the piston head. Once you have the radius, plug it into the formula to calculate the area of the piston head.
flip the lever/switch again, it has both an on and off function *if you want the block to retract with the piston, you need a sticky piston
The piston will usually be a few degrees before top center.
Buy a new engine.
That is a stock bore 93-01 KX250 Piston. The part number 617M06640 is a Wiseco number. I know as I have the same bike and this is the piston kit I used. Very good piston. Do not be suckered into a single ring piston as it will not last as long.
Your piston rings need replaced. One of the two piston rings on a piston is for oil control. This is either worn or broken and needs replaced.
Well...... you need A LITTLE bit of clearance for the gas mixture to lubricate the piston and cylinder. Plus your piston expands when it gets hot.
What about it? You need to ask a question.
