Why do you need good skills to join the Royal Navy?

Do not use this as your actual advice and do some searching yourself please, use this as a Guideline, thanks. :)Hi don't get angry when I say this but iam only a 11 years of age! But don't be put off because I've done alot of research about the navy, you see when im older i want to be in the navy (its a great ambition of mine). Anyway some skills you want, would be surely fitness, what ever rank or career you get you will need alot of it, even in the kitchen :D. But it depends because if you want to be involved i the front line and using weapons then the best option is the Commandos, but this takes ALOT of Fitness and training so be prepared.

When im older i would like to be a Royal Navy Aircraft Hadler which is in the Fly navy regiment and this involves alot of fitness, it includes checking the landing pads, bringing the aircraft (in and out) and even simple Fire Fighting dutys. But as hard as this currently sounds the navy has its Ups aswell such as : Great scenery, Making Friends, helping others and Obviously enjoying the job you are doing, because i suppose that's why your joining. So that's why you need skills to join the navy. :) Hope I helped. :-D
