It should have disk brakes on the rear, no need to adjust. If you need to adjust the E-brake do it from the handle in the car (would need to remove trim to get to cable)

If they are drum brakes then yes they are self adjusting, But they never adjust themselves right. You will need to adjust them. If they are discs brakes then there is no adjustment. ( replace pads)

We would need to know what type of brakes you have... S-cam air brakes, air disc brakes, air piston brakes, air wedge brakes, hydraulic drum brakes, hydraulic disc brakes... they're all different.
