If the parking brake does not engage fully, the rear (shoe type) brakes need to be adjusted or replaced.
How do you adjust the parking brake on a1994 Lumina?
brakes adjust themselves automatically
At the "Y" of the cables under the car in front of the rearend.
May be frozen brake calipersMay be rear brakes are not adjusted properlyMay be parking brake cables frozen and are dragging
If I remember correctly, the adjustment is on the drivers side under the car but your rear brakes are probably worn down. There is a lock down nut that has to be loosened the turn the second nut a couple to a few turns and the tighten down the lock down nut.
If front brakes are working properly - no frozen caliper or restricted brake lines with proper fluid flow to caliper - try check rear brake and parking adjustments to make sure they are not dragging and operating
I need a diagram of the 1993Geo prism condition system.
You have drum brakes on the rear.
What about 1993 Pontiac drum brakes, please be specific.
