to keep them warm and/or clean
You need to cover the face and hair with horse hair pieces. You only need to buy one
It depends on what kind of horses coat your horse has all year round. If it has a thick coat then it would be fine in a weed-free paddock. If your horse has a smooth, fine coat it would probably need some sort of sturdy shelter against the cold. If your horse is an 'outside' horse, it would need a winter cover. It would also need some trees for shelter. It needs to have a fence and a gate. If you have a 'inside' horse you will need the sturdy shelter, a heavy winter cover and basic stable things. Hayley
Answer: In horse racing some horses need "cover" because they don't produce their best efforts when leading from the front. so the jockey keeps the horse behind a couple of other runners, which provide this "cover", until the final stages of the race when the horse is encouraged to do his best... I guess this applies also to trotting races.
It means that you have already Castrated your horse and you cannot cover your horse after that
So you do not fall off the horse, plus it would make things more comfortable for the horse
No.
It would be best to provide a cover for the horse. It could be a simple roof on four posts or a three sided shelter. It should be noted that although trees are good for shade, during a storm they can and do attract lightning, which if it were to strike the tree the horse was standing under it would likely kill the horse.
You should cover a horse in WINTER
You need a horse that's a female ;) Then just go down on her page and look onto right corner... where it says Reproduction .. then you see General or Cover my mare.. click Cover my mare, choose a male horse for her and click next and then she will be pregnant ;) But hey! Your mare have to be at least 2,6 years old to become able to breed. ;)
