to show affection physically.
why do we kiss specifically? well i could go into the science of different parts of it, like how many nerve endings we have in the mouth and all that, but that's missing the point.
that's like saying.. what is the purpose of music? to express something that we could not express with words as exactly as we could in this way.

I agree. kissing is one of my favorite passtimes. if its not part of your life then you've got issues.
i completely agree. I love kissing my girlfriend. You just get caught up in the moment of it ya know? whenever your with the right person kissing just feels so right!

∙ 12y agoMost people wonder why kissing is important in a relationship but it is recognised as the start of the physical side to the relationship. However sometimes words can be more important than kissing but it is a important part of a relationship as it is a very large sign of affection to one another and proves your love is real towrds them.
